BORDERLINE PSYCHOPATHOLOGY AND ITS TREATMENT pdf free download. This book is essentially a synthesis of papers I published—sometimes as coauthor with Dan H. Buie—over the past 15 years. The thesis that Buie and I developed to account for borderline psychopathology is a complex one, and was originally presented in two overlapping theoretical papers, the first concentrating on development, the second on psychodynamics. In order to eliminate redundancy, on the one hand, and by way of fleshing out our thesis, on the other, I have chosen here to combine the two papers and expand on some of their theoretical implications in a way that was not possible in journal publication. These two
papers, then, form the backbone of Chapters 1 through 4, which present the fullest statement of our theoretical position to date. The remainder of the volume follows
essentially the same strategy, combining and expanding upon articles dealing with
specific aspects of our understanding that could not be treated in depth in the
original two papers. These have mainly to do with treatment issues.
